So you have finally noticed that your kids are not wrong, some of the rooms in your house are looking a bit outdates. Still, truth be known, you were almost happier being in the dark on this because you do not have the funds to make big changes. But, that is where you might just be wrong. There are certain things that can be switched out that will instantly alter the appearance, and if the right selections are made on the replacements could make all the difference.
My favourite of these instant alterations are light fixtures. Take a quick look around your house, do you have a chandelier that screams eighties, or upon closer inspection lighting shades that were originally white but now look more yellow? Then this is actually great news, because really just about anything has to be better that discoloured, or seriously dated. Even if you just change out the old shades for some cleaner looking ones you have taken a step in the right direction. But, I for one hope you decide to run all the way to the finish line on this and get some great new lights.
